Ghost Towns of the West is the debut release for a band comprised of five brothers (metaphorically speaking) who've been writing and playing together for a length of time.

The EP was recorded, mixed, and produced by Ed Ackerson (Golden Smog, The Jayhawks, The Replacements) at Flowers studio in December 2010. From Joel: “The recording process itself was void of click tracks so we could allow the loving heartbeat of Ryan Harding to be our metronome. Whenever possible, we played the parts just as we wrote them: together. We wanted to create the best, and most honest representation of our music, and feel like we accomplished that. Everybody in the band is proud of this, and we are excited to share it with anyone who is interested. Some elusive demons may have been exercised in the process, too.”
